CHOPARD HAPPY HEARTS NECKLACE REVIEW FOR LAING EDINBURGH No rating results yet

Something magical happens when you turn 30. For one thing, you look at jewellery with a fresh perspective and a deeper appreciation. To mark my 30th birthday this year, I’m taking the Chopard Happy Hearts Sautoir Necklace to lunch at The Ivy Chelsea Garden. This timeless beauty is one of the latest additions to the famed jewellery trader, Laing Edinburgh. With Chopard’s signature trademark of hearts and moving diamonds, this Sautoir necklace features mother-of-pearl and 18k rose gold openwork hearts. It’s a moving piece that sparkles as a celebration of love.

Turning 30 was not something I was looking forward to, at first. But now that the sun is shining on beautiful London town, I want to celebrate in true Chopard style. Let’s be honest. Who doesn’t love a good excuse to dress up! So, it is with a Happy Heart that I head to one of my favourite places in Chelsea where the fabulously dressed hang out. One last birthday celebration before I take off for Las Vegas and my next jewellery adventure.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden is such a beautiful place for any special occasion. Always flowing with beautiful blossoming flowers, it’s an Edwardian house dressed up as a Tudor house on the King’s Road. With my rose gold Chopard Happy Hearts Sautoir Necklace, I indulge in some rose wine in the beautiful, fragrant garden. Playful moving Chopard diamonds and happy hearts are such a beautiful way to dress up my birthday dress.

I’m happy to tell you that you can find the beautiful Chopard Happy Hearts Collection at Scotland’s finest and most prestigious family jeweller, Laing Edinburgh. Moving diamonds and beautiful hearts are two iconic elements of the Chopard House. Every time I see the moving diamonds sparkle, it reminds me of my childhood and travelling the world with my family. Happy Hearts is ideal for those of you who love life and playful jewellery to match. Happy Hearts is a fun and creative collection that easily transitions from daytime to evening from elegant to glamorous. Long chains are a necessity for evening events.

For me, I like to have at least one gold necklace that I can wear for all occasions. When I’m travelling, I take my favourite long necklace with me and create different ways to wear it. You can wrap it around your wrist to make a bracelet, or wear it down your back with a long, backless dress, or as a multi-layer choker. So versatile! The Chopard Happy Hearts Sautoir Necklace is contemporary in design, bold in colour and generous in hearts.

Turning 30 has changed my appreciation for rose gold and it’s time I add it to my white gold look. I just love wearing rose gold jewellery on vacation and in sunny weather. The way rose gold shines in the sun and complements the skin is heavenly. The playful and colourful Chopard Happy Hearts Collection from Laing Edinburgh moves my heart and makes me smile! Diamonds that move are sure to catch an admirer’s eye.

WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THIS TAYLOR & HART ENGAGEMENT RING?

Taylor & Hart take the time to listen to their customers, weaving their proposal stories into each design, keeping it sweet and real. Early Moi et Toi designs from the beginning of the 20th century inspired the Moi Et Toi engagement ring. What better idea for an engagement ring than to call it Moi et Toi or Me and You to represent the union of two souls in love. Taylor & Hart have designed a very modern Moi et Toi engagement ring with beautifully formed 18ct yellow gold that curves provocatively around the two fancy cut diamonds. Such a refreshing change from the round brilliant-cut diamond.

WITH LOVE AND LONGING: FORGET-ME-NOT BY HARRY WINSTON

Imagine for a minute the most exquisite proposal a girl could wish for – an invitation from your boyfriend to go look for engagement rings! You’re overflowing with excitement and your special man is eager to see what you choose. So you agree to meet up on Old Bond Street before dinner at the glamorous Isabel. But to your surprise, he guides you to the newly renovated Harry Winston boutique instead.

Like a true gentleman, he holds open the door for you and your heart starts to beat faster and faster, as you step inside the world of Harry Winston diamonds and exquisite jewellery. Puzzled, you take his hand as he leads you to a private room upstairs. Opening the door, you are met with the fragrance and beauty floor-to-ceiling flowers. Then he gets down on one knee and utters the words you’ve been longing to hear, “Will you marry me, my love?”

What a romantic proposal that would be! Followed by, of course, the words – “Choose whatever you like my love.” Are you still with me? If so, check out my favourite Harry Winston engagement rings from my previous visit.

Let’s return to reality and talk about the secret garden on Bond Street at Harry Winston. It’s the perfect setting to unveil their latest floral-inspired collection called, Forget-Me-Not by Harry Winston.

Nature has given us so many beautiful things like white diamonds and colourful gemstones, but flowers have to be one of the most fascinating, especially to me. Floral motifs in jewellery are so feminine and precious that artists, designers and great minds like Mr. Winston have spent their lifetime paying tribute to their splendid beauty. An enchanting and enduring muse, flowers will always capture the imagination of the Harry Winston designers and inspire beautiful, timeless, feminine jewellery collections.

The Forget-Me-Not is a symbol of true love. It’s delicate blue colour signifies true love and loyalty, making it the perfect gift for someone you love. With a famed tradition of bringing the beauty of nature and the magnificence of gemstones together in exquisite jewellery, Winston designers, under the creative direction of the late and legendary Maurice Galli, have immortalized the forget-me-not in this new collection.

With the Forget-Me-Not Collection, the graceful silhouette of the flower is brought to life through an enchanting medley of round brilliant, pear-shaped and marquise-cut diamonds. You have your choice of delicate daytime jewels – necklace, pendant, earrings, bracelet, ring, and a complementing charm. The collection is one of the legendary Galli’s last creations and a beautiful reminder of everything he inspired for the House of Harry Winston.

Jessica Chastain Attends amfAR Gala in Piaget Lariat Necklace

This year’s amfAR Gala presented a bevy of looks and their accompanying jewels for us to drool over. One particular bauble stood out from the sea of sparkles at the Cannes Film Festival event: Jessica Chastain’s backward necklace.

The actress wore a long, black Prada gown that featured a low back style. The dress itself was lovely, but the true star of this look was obviously her Piaget necklace. With a sophisticated mix of pearls, diamonds, gold and ruby, the statement piece was surely one of the most glamorous baubles at the event.

Jessica wasted no time making sure the photographers got pictures of her jewelry in all the right angles. The long necklace was definitely the perfect addition to her backless dress.

Rihanna Pairs Wedding Dress with Chopard Jewelry at 2017 Cannes Film Festival

Who said you had to be a bride to wear a wedding dress? Apparently not Rihanna. The singer got everyone’s attention at the Cannes Film Festival’s presentation of “Okja” in a scene-stealing bridal look from Dior Haute Couture. The singer rocked an off-white silk bustier dress topped with a matching long silk coat, which seemed to serve as a modern substitute for a traditional veil.

In true Riri style, the singer amped up the look with a spectacular amount of jewelry. The star was drizzled in emeralds and diamonds from her new collection with Chopard, which is aptly named “Rihanna Loves Chopard.”

The gorgeous jewels were a welcome addition to this unconventional red carpet look. She finished with a pair of futuristic Andy Wolf glasses, which weren’t really necessary, but Ri doesn’t really care because she will wear whatever she wants and somehow make the pieces work. What do you think of this look?

Kate Middleton Visits Luxembourg in Blue Topaz and Blue Diamond Earrings

Every time Kate Middleton goes on a royal engagement, we’re always anxious to see what she wears. The Duchess of Cambridge is the epitome of class, and is consistently on point with her fashion choices.

Kate went for a state visit to Luxembourg to commemorate the 1867 signing of the Treaty of London. Kate was the picture of perfection in a powder blue Emilia Wickstead coat dress. She paired her gorgeous outerwear with a pair of LK Bennett “Fern” heels and a nude-colored Etui clutch before finishing the ensemble with a collection of jewelry pieces.

Our eyes were drawn to Kate’s stunning drop earrings. The jewels are from designer Kiki McDonough and features blue topaz oval and cushion cut stones that are surrounded with small circle diamonds. These earrings featured a tinge of blue color, and were the perfect accessory to match her gorgeous dress.
