INVITATION: CURATED EDIT OF EVA FEHREN JEWELRY BY NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD X GEMOLOGUE
I am excited to invite you to a champagne reception at Nicholas Kirkwood‘s beautiful boutique at 5 Mount St in London Mayfair that I am hosting on the 9th of November.
Nicholas Kirkwood is launching an exciting partnership at his flagship boutique with NYC-based fine jewellery designer, Eva Fehren. I am a big fan of her contemporary, stackable jewellery designed to create looks that are personally relevant and unique to each and every woman. Eva draws inspiration from New York City’s geometric urban patterns and architectural elements and her jewellery is in harmony with Kirkwood’s own collection of graphic and bold designs that subvert expectations and present a new kind of aesthetic luxury in footwear. I cannot wait to see her new, previously unseen pieces that will be showcased in London!
To celebrate the occasion we would also love you to join us on the evening of November 9th for a glass of champagne. You will get the opportunity to meet me, as well as Nicholas and Eva, and explore their shoe and jewellery collections. There will also be a 10% discount on all purchases that evening.
RSVP to info@gemologue.com in order to make sure you are added to the guest list for this invitation-only event.
GEMOLOGUE by Liza Urla features exquisite global discoveries, trendy urban street style, exclusive interviews and rare jewellery reviews – a celebration of fine jewellery, fashion jewellery and vintage jewellery.

Sofia Richie vs. Bella Hadid in Bulgari Diamond Necklaces
Beloved luxury jewelry brand Bulgari celebrated its New York flagship store reopening with dozens of gorgeous A-list celebrities — most opting to showcase Bulgari jewels in honor of the occasion. While there were tons of glittering ornamental pieces to drool over, there were two ladies in Bulgari diamond necklaces that stood out. Let’s take a look.
Sofia Richie
Sofia Richie may be getting a lot of critique for her unconventional relationship with Scott Disick, but on the red carpet, she deserves nothing but praise for her style. The 19-year-old socialite was extra glamorous in a blush-colored satin gown that hugged her lean figure elegantly. Sofia paired her dress with a stunning array of diamond jewelry from the brand’s widely popular Serpenti collection, looking absolutely glamorous.

Sofia opted to wear Serpenti jewelry diamond pieces with her strapless gown.
Bella Hadid
Supermodel Bella Hadid, who is one of the faces of the Bulgari fashion house, was a beautiful vision in a white Roberto Cavalli gown. She upped her sexy look with a gorgeous Bulgari “Tradizione” necklace, which features a woven lace-like pattern decorated with sparkling diamond stones. This uniquely styled choker was inspired by the complex pattern of the spider’s nest, and is part of the brand’s High Jewelry Festa collection.

H&Y JEWELLERY FANCY PINK DIAMOND EARRINGS REVIEW 5/5 (1)
While strolling in Beauchamp Place in Knightsbridge, London, I came across a stunning pair of pink diamond earrings at H&Y jewellery boutique for a great price, so I had to share these beauties with you. Pink is my absolutely favourite colour for a diamond, but what made these earrings really stand out for me is their versatility: they are the perfect complement to a wedding dress, plus the size and design are just right for everyday wear.
Of all the gems in the world, diamonds are some of the most beautiful and valuable. Colourful diamonds are amongst the rarest gemstones that you can find, amounting to just 0.01% in the world today. So these precious specimens are a treasure. Set in 18Kt white gold with a total of two fancy purple pink diamonds with a weight of 0.95 ct – together with 62 fancy pink diamonds for a total weight of 0.40 ct. But that’s not all, there are also 72 VS white diamonds in these beautiful earrings!
As a jewellery blogger I dream about pink diamonds. Since my GIA days, pink diamonds have fascinated me. I love that the colour pink represents unconditional love. But my obsession is not like that of every five-year-old in love with the colour itself, but an appreciation of the rarity and value of these precious pink diamonds. Colour is purely a personal choice, not a trend or culture.
Even though I like to go against the flow, I have to agree with what so many women say that stud earrings are a must-have for every jewellery box. With delicate studs, your man won’t get into any harm when he moves in for a kiss. But if you’re wearing a spiky statement earrings, he could lose an eye! Studs are so much more practical! And with a touch of pink diamond sparkle, it’s just magic! The perfect foundation for everything else you’re going to wear.
Available online and at the H&Y jewellery Boutique at 41 Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge, London, SW3 1NX. These fancy pink earrings come with a GIA certificate and are valued at £36,000.

THE JEWELS OF FREYWILLE, FIRE ENAMEL ARTISTIC JEWELLERY
The Jewels Of… is a new series by GEMOLOGUE, featuring my latest discoveries from the world’s most exciting jewellery designers and their spectacular creations – stunning jewels you will want to add to your own personal jewellery collection. Discover why I love The Jewels Of FREYWILLE.
THE DESIGNER:
FREYWILLE began in the beautiful city of Vienna in 1951 under the creative direction of artist Michaela Frey, whose fire enamel technique brought to light many decorative pieces. Michaela eventually focused her talents solely on creating jewellery and by 1970, she had teamed up with brand visionary, Dr. Friedrich Wille. Since Michaela’s death in 1980, FREYWILLE has remained at the forefront of fire-enamel jewellery under the business genius of Dr. Wille and the creative direction of Simone Grünberger. A student of Vienna’s University of Applied Arts, Simone graduated in metal design and focused her talents on revolutionizing the fire-enamel technique. I know the brand well from my days spent living in Vienna. That was before I moved to NYC to study gemmology. Today, FREYWILLE can be found all over the world in 100 different boutiques in the best locations in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North and South America.
THE DETAILS:
Applying layer after layer of fire-enamel, it takes as many as 100 manual steps to capture the intensity of colour and delicate design of each FREYWILLE jewellery piece. Crafted in Vienna, each collection is unique and shows an enthusiasm for pure art, a respect for the great paintings of the Masters, and a philosophical passion for life and humanity.
Inspired by love, joy, passion and the paintings of the Masters, we have created a new category in jewellery. FREYWILLE combines important art and the fashionable elegance of timeless jewellery pieces. What we have created underlines our admiration for art, history and the great Masters and puts focus on our own creative and power. Dr Friedrich Wille
WHY I LOVE IT:
FREYWILLE has a style that is unique and admired by many jewellery lovers. As hand-crafted jewellery, each piece is a true work of art. I love the perfect fusion of beauty, practicality and affordability – characteristics so rarely found together in jewellery. One of their latest collections is dedicated to my favourite artist, Alphonse Mucha, who is considered the 20th Century Master of Art Nouveau. Now I can adorn myself in the familiar Art Nouveau motifs of the dragonfly and butterfly, so beautifully depicted in bold pieces full of dreamy, nature-inspired references.

GET THE LOOK…PLACE VENDOME PARIS
During my last trip to Paris with Van Cleef & Arpels to visit their jewellery school L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels, I stumbled across Louis Vuitton’s stunning new store right around the corner. Louis Vuitton’s new flagship store on Place Vendome is a bright addition to the world’s most famous jewellery square. The building casts a ray of sunshine onto the square with its resplendent installation of golden sun streaming spiralling long metal rays. The dazzling facade conceived by Louis Vuitton’s visual creative director Faye McLeod was the perfect backdrop for my latest Get the Look post wearing jewellery designed by Dominic Jones for Astley Clarke.
