This yoga-inspired jewellery is the creation of Virginie Dreyer, a designer and yoga teacher living in Bahrain. Her passion for yoga runs deep and reminds me of my own love of yoga that I’ve practiced since the age of 16. (I’m a regular at Triyoga in London). The TinyOm Sahasrara statement cuff is not just another piece of jewellery, but one that has symbolic value and meaning – an essential ingredient of jewellery. Why else would we wear it!
The Sahasrara chakra represents the “thousand petal lotus” and is the chakra of enlightenment and spiritual connection to a greater consciousness and everyone in the universe. Situated at the top of your head, it is the centre of rebirth from where all the other chakras draw their energy. It is a symbol of unity and wisdom.
These past couple of months have taken me on my own personal path of discovery and enlightenment. Inspired by the TinyOm statement cuff and learning about the Sahasrara chakra has helped me regain a sense of meaning and power, and helped me to keep going through this difficult time.
