For my wedding ceremony in the Maldives I wore Ruth Milliam Liliah 30’s style gown with feathery lace flowers and a low back, a champagne tulle skirt and a long flowing train. I picked a fresh flower hairband for my hair. I thought very carefully about the jewellery to compliment my bridal look (and I even wrote some style rules for accessorizing your wedding!). I am wearing a pair of gorgeous Van Cleef & Arpels Rose de Noël earrings. Since the 1970s, Van Cleef & Arpels has devoted a jewelry collection of roses, which bloom in midwinter like promises of happiness. Combining the glitter of diamonds with the sheen of hard stones, the Rose de Noël collection symbolizes beauty and romance. For cleavage I picked a butterfly necklace by Annoushka, created in 18ct gold and hand set with brown diamonds the butterflies in this necklace seem to have been caught mid moment settling on the decolletage. Each butterfly has been hand painted with black rhodium detail and hand set with brilliant cut brown diamonds.
