As my day of art directing the jewellery campaign for a GEM Kreatives client in the Maldives was coming to an end, I just couldn’t resist taking my last opportunity to experience the feeling of a warm breeze in my hair and golden sand underneath my feet. Strolling on the beach, while taking these sunset photos, and admiring the paraiba tourmaline blue of the ocean as the waves splashed onto the sand… Moments like this make me feel grateful and lucky to have an opportunity to travel to magical places all around the globe. This always reminds me that living and enjoying the moment is just so rewarding!
My look in these Maldives sunset photos will surely nourish my soul on a cold day in London. The Teatum Jones skirt I’m wearing is from the first chapter of AW18 collection, inspired by the feeling of intense joy. How accurately this explosive red and passionate pink palette describes my mood! My bright and juicy earrings from Vicki Sarge London enrich the outfit with tropical vibes.
You can instantly tell I have a special love for statement earrings. Travelling the world and spending time in exotic places like Brazil made statement earrings rub off on my jewellery identity, and Vicki Sarge’s boutique in London is a treasure trove for them! Being one of my favourite costume jewellery brands, VICKISARGE has dedicated her life to jewellery and creates hand-crafted, quality pieces of jewellery art, and compared to fine jewels, are safe to take on my overseas adventures.
I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t complete the outfit with bespoke detail. The 18k gold ring from Mike Joseph fine jewellery is definitely not your usual ring. Detailed with diamonds and 33 grey pearls, it curls effortlessly around my thumb, giving it a modern look.
The more you travel, the more open-minded and experimental you become. Hope this look gives you a beach photoshoot inspiration, so next time you travel open your jewellery box and let your craziest creative ideas out!
